Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required 24 credit hours in teaching subject to fulfill the highly qualified requirement Valid fingerprint clearance card (or the ability to obtain one once hired) Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organization and time management skills Ability to build relationships with staff, parents, and most importantly, students Arizona cross-categorical certificate required for Special Education positions Preferred
Qualifications:
Postgraduate work (Masters or Ph.
D.
) related to the subject matter Experience teaching in content area and working with students of a similar age or skill level Lifelong learners, seeking to build on and develop their knowledge and skills through a virtuous circle of reflection on practice - involving research, evaluation and adaptation Strong recommendations from previous employers Attention to detail with precision and the ability to independently and collaboratively problem solve Benefits & Compensation:
