We're looking for someone with strong integrity, willingness to work hard to get the job done, and a team player.
A successful RV Warranty Administrator will have a strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and diligent in task completion.
Essential Job Functions:
Contact Manufacturers and OEM's to obtain authorization to perform repairs.
Obtain required warranty and/or customer authorization prior to working and faxing in for authorization or any/all procedures as prescribed in the Manufacturer's warranty policy and procedure manual.
Work closely with the Service Manager and RV technicians to understand and relay required warranty repairs to Manufacturers.
Apply for warranty payment after authorization and repairs are completed.
Follow up on all warranty receivables to ensure payment in a timely manner.
Follow up on open work orders as per policy of the dealership.
Assist Service Department in scheduling service appointments according to scheduling policies.
Must be able to provide excellent customer service skills in a courteous and professional manner, in person and over the phone, and perform in a fast paced environment.
Working knowledge of activities, methods, procedures, and policies of the Service Department.
Participates in training as necessary.
Greet incoming customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to cross train and perform other duties within the dealership.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Essential Job Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1 Year RV experience required Basic RV and technical knowledge preferred Strong computer skills and problem solving skills Must have great organizational skills and the ability to follow up on tasks Excellent telephone and communication skills Excellent communication and listening skills to resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner.
Ability to accept additional tasks, duties and/or direction from management.
Requires some bending, climbing, and kneeling and lifting up to 70 lbs.
