Our Member Service Consultants are universally trained to help members with transactions, new accounts and loans and have the opportunity to earn incentives for achievement of sales results.
Applicants should have comprehensive experience in the service industry.

POSITION PURPOSE Enhances the quality of life for our members by meeting or exceeding their service expectations.
Provides high quality service, defined as ensuring prompt and accurate transactions, while utilizing a needs-based referral and selling approach that builds member relationships, trust and loyalty, delivered in a professional, member-centric environment.
Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail.
Balances each day's transactions and assigned cash and negotiables.
Performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting members with questions and problems, providing a complete service experience.
Answers members' questions regarding Credit Union services and performs a variety of account maintenance duties.
Actively cross-sells Credit Union services and participates in needs- based sales environment.
Performs specific assigned tasks, and assists other Member Service Consultants with duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and policies.
Understanding of Teller/Member Service Representative functions.
Member Service driven.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year to three years of similar or related experience in the banking and/or financial industry preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Well organized.
Able to operate related computer applications and basic business equipment.
Good team player abilities.
Notary & NMLS preferred.
Certificate required upon hire.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
