The Director Assisted Living and Memory Support is responsible for administering and directing, through subordinate supervisory and lead personnel, all extended care operations of the Assisted Living and Memory Care facility on the campus.
The overall aim is to provide professional care to the residents while keeping in mind goals, treatments and resident progress.
A professional goal is to help residents attain their highest level of health, independence and emotional well-being.
Within the framework of delegated authority, and consistent with Sun Health Senior Living policy and procedures, the position assures a quality program of services, a sound fiscal operation and good management of all internal and external affairs, thereby providing a single point of accountability for all activities.

Salaried exempt; entitled to Director Incentive of 20% of base salary.
Major Tasks, Duties, and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall operation of the Assisted Living and Memory Support community in accordance with applicable local, state and federal regulations, as well as departmental policies, procedures and company requirements Responsible for the oversight of the operations of the Assisted Living and Memory Support facility including, but not limited to, nursing services, activities, dining service, maintenance, housekeeping and laundry functions.
Maintains high degree of resident /employee satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high quality services.
Provides leadership for staff and residents to include pro-actively solving problems and resolving issues with support from leaders.
In conjunction with Executive Director, executes annual operating and capital budgets.
Anticipates and minimizes negative budget variances and deficits.
Meets budget occupancy goals for the community.
Continually explores means of revenue enhancement and expense reduction.
Provide leadership, hire, and train, evaluate, discipline and supervise in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensures consistency in the selection and retention of quality employees.
Provide oversight of preventative maintenance systems and programs in accordance with Federal, State and local requirements.
Oversees the resident admission process and maintenance of resident documentation to ensure compliance with company policy and state regulations.
Assists with the completion of resident assessment/reassessment and service plans in conjunction with resident, residents' family and physician.
Creates and implements approaches and service plans to maintain or enhance resident independence and resident satisfaction.
Develops and maintains an effective communication relationship with residents, families and team members.
Investigates and documents resident and employee incidents, identifies safety hazards and institutes corrective action in a timely manner Build trust and strong cross functional relationships within the Sales Department to support community structure and expectations.
Assure that resident's rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to file a complaint are upheld.
Participates and supports quality assurance/continuous quality improvement programs and processes.
Tracks and records quality measures including but not limited to falls, medication errors, hospital admissions and 911 calls.
Consistently maintains complete confidentiality of all medical, financial, employees, computer or other sensitive material which may jeopardize the privacy of others.
Maintains Records in accordance with community policies.
This includes, but is not limited to, documentation in charts and maintenance of medication records (controlled and uncontrolled).
Will assist in onboarding of new employees and be responsible for input in the performance management of employees.
Initiates, updates and participates in Resident Service Plan.
Projects a positive image to fellow staff, residents, families and physicians.
Fosters creativity among staff to deliver the highest quality care to the residents we serve.
Serves on standing and ad hoc work teams/committees as required.

$78,800.
00 - $87,001.
